European Experience in a nutshell

6/26/2019

Picture
European Experience is an annual event held in Savannah, Georgia. From the name itself, EuEx comes as a complete package.  Cars, the beach, seeing old friends and friends you've made and has never met before through social media, and more cars.

While others love to brag about how they make a 10 hour drive in a less amount of time, we bragged about how we made this trip 2 hours longer. After resting from the drive down and figuring out our AirBnb, we decided that it would be best to hit the beach on our first day. And for sure,  it was worth the drive even on our first day.

Afterwards, our friend Dylan from Michigan(g) hit us up with "the move".  They hosted a BMW meet under a fly-over that apparently happens every year. Oh also, this is Dylan's supercharged E46 that he beats up at every drift events.

After seeing this E30, I was starting to see the trend of grey BMWs  at this meet. They are cooler than the rest, and easier to take pictures of.

Shawn's E28, someone buy his other one please. So he can stop posting it on Instagram.

The very next day was the first show day, we rolled in and set up our tent. Just the tents though, one and all of us has forgotten chairs back home (not surprising).  But, we made it all work, lay something on the grass so we all can stack on top of each other and nap.

Then we decided to start walking around, in the hottest weather. I could've scrambled some eggs on top of my car.

There is something about this monoblock Rotifroms on MKIV GTI that attracted me. The combo.

Who doesn't freak out when they see a RUF ? I'm pretty sure this is a RUF though.

First of all, a wagon. Second, M3 widebody on a wagon.

Must be nice riding in this thing to the event. Comfort and style.

Also an honorary mention to my brother, we made it through a 12 hour drive. First event in two different cars and two different generations. Many stories came from building both, his E46 and my E36 the past month before the event. I can't wait for more trips in these two bad boys.

Although we didn't attend the second day I wanted to thank these guys for the crazy trip, it's something I'll brag about to the people who thinks it's not worth it to drive down for this specific event. Wouldn't have wanted to spend those three days with any other crew.
